Kungfu Dragon USA Performance at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! 8/9/14

Awesome news!  Kungfu Dragon USA has been invited by Sing Tao Daily, the largest Chinese language daily newspaper worldwide, to perform at the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Northern California’s award-winning theme/animal park, featuring the biggest, most thrilling attractions in the San Francisco/Sacramento area, on Saturday, August 9th, 2014.

This will be a perfect school outings opportunity for all of us at Kungfu Dragon USA to hang out together, get to know each other, and have lots of fun!

School will be closed on that day.

Congratulations to Kungfu Dragon USA Newest 1st Degree Black Belts!

On Saturday, July 26, 2014, we celebrated our 1st year anniversary and held our 1st Black Belt Tests.  We now have three new 1st Degree Black Belt students. Congratulations to Ian Lim, Jessica Fung, and Leland Zhang on this achievement. Your dedication, perseverance, and hard work was evident.  We are very proud of you!  Keep up the good work, and enjoy your journey to self-mastery in Kung Fu.

Happy New Year everybody!  Looking forward to a great start in 2014.  We are blown away by how much we have accomplished in 2013.  We are grateful for the exciting and challenging experience, achievements and lessons learned. We will propel into 2014 with even bigger goals and plans to improve our school, our services, and our community involvement; and to train smarter to become more healthy, fit, efficient and productive.

2013 Kungfu Dragon USA Christmas Party

I want to thank you everyone who came to our Christmas Party last Sunday. I hope you and your families enjoyed the students performance, the Shaolin movie and the yummy food we had shared. The talent shows were overwhelmingly successful and had demonstrated how well rounded our students were. I am really proud of all my students and I feel very fortunate to be the Shifu of such a talented group. It was such a memorable day and we celebrated this Christmas holiday together as one big loving family.

Kungfu Dragon USA performance at the Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Parade 2013

I’m pleased to announce that the 2013 Main Street Downtown Pleasanton Parade on December 7th was a huge success. Thank you very much for all the students and parents volunteers who participated in the event despite the freezing cold weather. Our performance was very well received. We had about 40 students performed in three different groups, and I was told that it looked like we were an army of over a hundred warriors. Our team spirits and Kungfu passion definitely spilled all over and left the audiences with great impressions. Towards the end of the parade I even overheard someone in the audience commented that we were considerably the “Highlight of the Night”. All credits go to those who were there and supported this event and I really appreciated it. Special thanks to the photographers and volunteers who had kept our students safe and organized. They were: Yin Lau & Nancy S Chu & kin lau & Yiqiao Wu & Terence Tang & Kathy Garcia Lwin & Helen Wong & Charlene Hu & Long Dang & Caecilia Setiawan-Sugijoto & Zoran Radosavljevic-Szilagyi…  We wouldn’t have done it without all of you. Looking forward to another great event next year!!!
